Programme Lead for Independent Prescribing, Queen Margaret University & Honorary Nurse Consultant, Non-medical Prescribing, NHS Lothian 

Dr Alison Wood is the current V300 programme lead at Queen Margaret University.  After a clinical career and qualifying as a V300 prescriber, Alison  completed her PhD and left full time NHS practice to work in the higher education sector.  She is a member of the Scottish Prescribing Programme Leads group and has an honorary role with NHS Lothian as an Nurse Consultant in non-medical prescribing.
